Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC)
CDC holds semi-annual meetings of their Board of Scientific Counselors. It is my responsibility to attend and tape record these meetings and provide a written Executive Summary Report for distribution to all Board Members and interested parties. I’ve also provided like services for National Center for Infectious Disease (NCID) Global Health Meetings and a brainstorming planning session for the 2004 International Conference on Emerging Infectious Diseases (ICEID).

Fayette County Chamber of Commerce
I conducted interviews, researched topics, and wrote all articles and sidebars for the Chamber's annual Images publication including: economic development, education, healthcare, tourism, and quality of life.

Dr. Kim wanted to develop an informative website that provides educational facts to potential clients seeking facial plastic surgery, and encourages contact for his professional consultation and surgical expertise. I researched and wrote this website copy from scratch; assimilating technical information into a succinct and easily understood format.

I captured and wove into words the essence of this European Flower Market/Gift Boutique. Graffius Innovation combined my writing with beautiful photographs resulting in a virtual boutique that eloquently reflects the establishment.

Amberley Greetings
I contracted with this international greeting card company to write over 80 sentimental verses for my very own Good Heavens signature line.

Gallopade Publishing
I provide writing and editing assistance for Carole Marsh Mysteries; a childrens book series that presents accurate geographical and historical facts via intriguing and suspenseful mystery stories.

Beef-O-Brady’s Restaurant
The owners of this restaurant were struggling with the decision to discontinue a popular, but unprofitable promotion. I came up with a concept to “extend the promotion for a limited time”. It put a positive spin on establishing a promotional end date that hadn’t previously existed.
I also composed promotional table tents and newspaper advertisements.

GEM National Girls’ Club badges
I developed activity badges; storyline, crafts & activities, and discussion questions for this national girls’ club organization. GEMS (Girls Everywhere Meeting the Savior) is a relationship-building program created especially for girls in grades 1-5 and centers on discovering solutions to the many challenges girls face today via games, crafts, singing, learning life skills, and discussing Bible stories.

Crescent Publishing, The Guide and arts & expressions Magazines

• I interview area professionals and write feature articles for an annual publication dedicated to promoting South Atlanta commerce (The Guide).
• I write feature articles for a magazine dedicated to promoting cultural arts in Atlanta's southern arc. (arts & expressions).
• I interviewed individuals and wrote various articles on local festivals, the unveiling of a nursing program, and a family affected by their father’s deployment to Iraq (Crescent Publishing).

Various Press Releases

• I participated in Peachtree City Youth Focus Groups, a community-wide project bringing together youth and adults in an effort to improve relations and create opportunities. I provided press releases to inform the public of group conclusions and future initiatives.
• I wrote a press release for Canongate Golf Clubs on the acquisition and renovation of their newest golf course and club house.

First Commonwealth Savings Bank / James Madison Mortgage Company, Huddleston Hound, and Oak Grove Newsletters
I composed and edited articles for monthly business and elementary school newsletters. I also recorded and reported the minutes for the bank’s board meetings and school PTO meetings.
